  • Holding the belief that good quality therapy should accessible to all people The Melbourne Centre of Psychotherapy holds the policy that patients are not charged more than they can afford.
  • Patients are availed to a means-tested sliding scale of fees which increases in $10 increments.
  • The agreed upon fee is discussed and agreed upon in the first session of therapy and can be renegotiated as circumstances change.
  • Medicare rebates are available for those with mental health care plans.
  • We are available to see self-managed NDIS patients.
  • We are available to see victims of crime patients funded through VOCAT

Sessions with Dr Sara Taylor

For initial assessments fees are means-tested and based on a sliding scale that increases in $10 increments ranging between $230 and $300 per session. This is in contrast to the APS recommended fee of $318.

For ongoing sessions fees are means-tested and based on a sliding scale that increases in $10 increments ranging between $290 to $300 per session.

Sessions with an MCPC Psychologist or Psychotherapist

Fees are means-tested and based on a sliding scale that increases in $10 increments ranging between $230 and $300 per session. This is in contrast to the APS recommended fee which $318 per session.
