Rodrigo Latorre (MPsych Clin) is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with a welcoming and respectful approach to working from a psychodynamic perspective.
Rodrigo has nearly 20 years of experience working with a range of people, including children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Rodrigo is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist. He completed a Master of Clinical Psychology writing his research thesis on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Personality Disorders.
Rodrigo has also studied evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.
Rodrigo initially gained experience as a Clinical Psychologist in Santiago, Chile training in Psychoanalysis and Family Systems Theory before moving to Australia. Rodrigo has worked in Hospitals, Clinics, Schools and private practice in Chile, Switzerland, United States and Australia.
