The Melbourne Centre of Psychotherapy News
It is Gunyang season, December a time of longer days and short nights: a time to harvest many plants: was a time to harvest many plants including: gunyang (kangaroo apple), morr (currant bush), garrawang (apple berry), bali (cherry ballart) and white elderberry.
It is a season of anticipation: holidays are on the horizon, it feels abundant and our connections to fellow humans touch us deeply and for many remind us of the ways we have been hurt in relationship to others. The end of the year is close and take stock of what we have harvested and harboured.
When the desire for therapy emerges the need is felt acutely. Hence, we are pleased to let you know we have an abundance of talented Psychologists for you to commence therapy with, including:
Caroline Shahbaz:
Well renown Depth Psychologist and Psychotherapist Caroline Shahbaz has recently joined us and she has space for new patients on Fridays and Saturdays. We are thrilled to have her working with us. Exciting!!!
At the heart of Caroline’s practice lies a simple truth: A therapeutic relationship is a container in which to encounter the soul of the other without abandoning one’s own. When two people meet with awareness, something larger than either of them begins to move, a field of truth, tenderness, and renewal.
Caroline works with individuals, couples, and families.
She understands that the holiday period can be difficult for people and for this reason she will be working on Saturday December 27 so that she can help you work through whatever difficulty has surfaced.
See here for more information about this particularly talented practitioner.
