Anne-Marie is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar, overing EMDR, CBT, ACT and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. She is committed to creating a warm and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard. Anne-Marie honours her patients where they are, while gently supporting them toward where they want to be.
Anne-Marie is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Interestingly, she was one of the last students to undergo training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy through the Clinical Psychology program at Victoria University. She is committed to ongoing professional development.
She has a particular interest in anxiety, trauma, and women’s mental health during the perinatal period. Anne-Marie also has an interest in supporting those experiencing grief and loss. Loss can reshape a person’s world in ways that are hard to put into words, and she feels privileged to walk alongside clients during these difficult times.
She draws on a range of approaches, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Anne-Marie speaks fluent French and English.
She works in person and via Telehealth in South Melbourne. Anne-Marie works on Thursday mornings.
