Thought of the Week
“There is no human deed or thought that lies fully outside the experience of other people.”
― Irvin D. Yalom
It is February and the buzz of our city has returned in harmony with our rhythms of work and play.
We are immersed in the season of Summer. Garrawang: when the kangaroo apples flower, wedge-tailed eagles breed, the days are long and the nights are short. Amongst the chaos of global turmoil and the impact this has on our often fragile human minds, we find joy in the sunlight and shade of trees.
In a time such times as, your reflections over the season may have included a resolution that you will commence or recommence therapy this year. Consequently, at MCPC we are pleased to let you know that the following practitioners have availability to see new patients:
Charu Mangla Goel: You can rest assured that you will be in very good hands when you commence therapy with this experienced and talented practitioner. Charu is a Senior Registered Psychologist who works from a Psychodynamic perspective to assist clients with difficult experiences and relationships. Charu works via Telehealth: a perfect solution for those that would rather not travel and would enjoy therapy from the comfort of their own home. We are thrilled to announce that she has recently increased her hours and is also working on Wednesdays. Charu currently has space to see a few additional patients. These sessions will book out quickly so please contact us to book a session with Charu. For more information about Charu see here.
Rebecca Hirst is an Integrative Psychotherapist. Rebecca believes that with the support of a trusted therapeutic relationship, each person can access their innate capacity for change. She works in a collaborative, warm, and person-centred way to promote safety and growth. Rebecca has recently increased her hours to include Wednesday mornings. Rebecca currently has five session times available for new patients. See here for more information about Rebecca.
Furthermore we have room for more good practitioners who like us are dedicated to best practice. At MCPC we are proud of our friendly, supportive, and kind hearted professional team. This contributes to the “good vibe” that many patients comment on and this in turn attracts more patients to our practice. We are therefore always on the search for additional Practitioners to join our lovely professional team. Please feel free to contact us if you are a Registered Psychologist, a Psychoanalyst, or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers who is looking for a new position with a supportive team dedicated to best practice. More information can be foundhere.
